Spring is in the air and despite the challenging times we are all facing, we want to reassure clients (old and new) that here at LP Planning we are remaining positive and focused and working through this. The current challenges won’t last forever and the economy will bounce back, and all of us and our businesses will be more robust and stronger as a result.
Our staff are working from home and making site visits, whilst following government advice on social distancing. The messages we have received to date from the local planning authorities, who we work closely with, is that their planning officers are continuing to work from home and are as determined to keep processing planning applications, appeals etc. as we are to keep the economy running.
So please be assured that as far as possible, it is ‘business as near normal’ and we are happy to help. If you have an enquiry about a possible new job, please call:

Here you can see what our customers have to say about our services.
The Farm Consultancy Group is involved in advising a wide range of agricultural and rural businesses. We have used LP Planning's services for advice on siting and location of farmhouses as well as farm buildings. We have worked closely with them on applications for our clients where justification is required both for temporary and permanent agricultural workers dwellings.
The level of service we have received from LP Planning has always been excellent. They offer an efficient and reliable service. One of the advantages of dealing with LP Planning is there is a clear price structure and quotes are provided before work is undertaken, therefore everyone is ensured of getting good value for money and knows exactly what the costs will be. We are always more than happy to recommend LP Planning's services to clients who have planning issues.
We have worked with LP Planning on a number of projects over the last 10 years and have achieved a 100% success rate. Some of our projects have proven to be controversial with both the planners and local residents but LP Planning have worked hard to negotiate with all parties in order to address the relevant issues and have always achieved the outcome we wanted. We continue to use LP Planning as our chosen planning consultants for residential development projects. They are professional, reliable and committed to getting the best outcome for their clients. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services.
LP Planning helped us to achieve a very successful outcome which resulted in obtaining planning permission for change of use from office to storage on a site in Calne, Wiltshire. They helped us navigate the planning application process and negotiated with the Local Planning Authority. They provided an honest, professional and reliable service which we would be happy to use again.
LP Planning came highly recommended to us when we sought planning advice to convert an old tin chapel, on green belt land, into a live/work dwelling. They didn't disappoint and we feel we owe the success of our planning application to their meticulous and communicative approach.
I was faced with a very complex issue regarding the separation of a listed barn conversion from the main property in order to effect a sale. Charlotte and her team were extremely knowledgeable about the process but more importantly they came up with a pragmatic multi-stage approach to gaining approval from both Council panning officers and the listed building authority which significantly improved our chance of success. The entire process was also managed in a very open and nonconfrontational manner with the Council. All applications were successful and my aim of selling the property was achieved within my desired time frame. I would have no hesitation in recommending LP Planning to my friends and colleagues in the future.
