About Us
LP Planning was established by Charlotte Watkins in 2006. Charlotte is a young, enthusiastic and dynamic planner committed to promoting the positive aspects of town and country planning.
Charlotte has over ten years experience of working in planning and has been employed in both the public and private sectors as a planning officer and a private consultant. Charlotte is a chartered town planner and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
In addition to her day to day workload Charlotte is also dedicated to promoting Town and Country Planning as a career for young people. She has given many presentations and organised workshops in local schools and colleges on planning and construction as a career choice. She has been a 'Young Ambassador for Constructions Skills'.
In October 2007, LP Planning was winner of the 'North Wiltshire's New Business of the Year Award'. Judges were impressed by Charlotte Watkins' "...enthusiasm, passion, clear communication of planning and positive awareness of planning issues in the area".
In December 2008 Charlotte Watkins was a runner up in the Young Planner of the Year Award which was organised by the Royal Town Planning Institute.
LP Planning is based in Chippenham in Wiltshire but provides advice and support to clients in other parts of the country. We operate a flexible approach to working and therefore can meet clients when it is most convenient for them.
